I took these crow shots as I walked along Swansea beach on Monday, just before the sun went over the horizon, its last rays lighting up the birds' dark plumage:
I do love crows. Their intelligence sucks me right in there. My middle name is Ingles - So close. perhaps it was changed a bit somewhere. Mine was spelled that way in the late 1600s when it crossed from Wales to the US. My relatives were in Wales in a prison from which they escaped to over to this side of the world. Prison came from "liberal actions in Dublin". Thanks for my crow fix. nellie
Thanks for your comments. Nellie, our name is pronounced the same as yours is spelt. We use the original Scottish pronunciation - it's a Scottish name. I'm English, but I live in Wales, and used to live in Canada! I will take a look at your blog.
Very nice pictures! Love the flying crow.. beautiful how it spreads the wings, especially on the first picture! And the light is lovely, the feathers are shimmering! Have a nice weekend.. Yvonne & Raphael
It’s so pleasant to see a bird flying freely in the air. I learned that even the last rays of the sun was effective as lighting. The plumage is reflecting the light and looks gold! He looks like a divine crow.
Nice, very nice!
ReplyDeleteI think Crows are grand and these flight images show off well, their fine look~
