I came across this Great Spotted Woodpeckers' nest in Clyne Woods in western Swansea a few weeks ago. I was able to set up my Canon 7D with 500mm lens on a tripod on a nearby footpath, and get some footage of the adults coming and going at the nest-hole as they fed their chicks:
